Russian ammonia export prices:
2015 — down 12%;
2016 — down 40%;
2017 — a slight increase of around 1%;
2018 — up 18%;
2019 — down 19%;
2020 — down 23% since the start of the year.

Ammonia exports

This year, exports of ammonia are declining. In 2020 (through September), around 3.17 million tonnes of anhydrous ammonia were exported. The average decline in export volumes this year was 6% (compared to the first 9 months of 2019).

Looking at ammonia exports from Russia, growth was seen only in 2018 (33%) and 2019 (10%), compared to previous years.

Production in Russia

At the same time, production in Russia has increased significantly over the past two years: for example, by 4% in 2019, and by 6% in 2020 (for the first 9 months), relative to the previous period.
