What is Nutrigation?

Nutrigation (fertigation) is a method of delivering pure plant nutrients through irrigation systems. Drip irrigation is one example. This is an extremely effective and highly economical method of feeding plants without unnecessary losses. The formulation is selected very precisely for each crop and matches its needs and specific stage of development. The degree and speed of nutrient absorption is increased because micronutrients are delivered directly to the plant’s root.

Nutrigation Makes It Possible To:

  • maintain a set soil moisture level,
  • supply fertilizers in a set amount,
  • serve as the basis for programmed harvest planning,
  • save on fertilizers and mineral substances,
  • increase fertilizer absorption by the plant,
  • save water resources,
  • make pest control easier,
  • reduce consumption of fungicides and herbicides
  • and more.

Drip irrigation is a more energy- and resource-efficient way of conducting agricultural activity.

Nutrigation prevents groundwater contamination, and as a result is a more environmentally friendly way of conducting agricultural operations.

An example of a general fertilizer for drip irrigation is monopotassium phosphate. In each specific case, all parameters are calculated individually.
