In appearance, hydrogen peroxide - a colorless liquid, without sediment, has a weak but specific odor. The aftertaste of peroxide can be described as metallic. The substance is readily soluble in water, and in turn dissolves well the various layers. Peroxide does not contain harmful substances that could have a negative impact on the environment and the environment, which allows us to safely produce it on a large scale.

It is transported and stored in plastic cans with valve covers, when heated and / or shaken (jolted) canisters swell. Valves are designed to bleed excess pressure from the canister.

Spheres of application of hydrogen peroxide:

Hydrogen peroxide in medicine

The most famous field of application of peroxide is certainly medicine (a weak solution is used). Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent antiseptic used to treat superficial wounds. A particularly good effect is achieved when treating wounds with a slight purulent lesion. This is due to the fact that when entering into contact with necrotic tissues, the solution of peroxide cracks and separates the dead tissue from the wound. Subsequent application of another antiseptic solution after treatment with peroxide allows a more thorough washing of the wound. But we must remember that hydrogen peroxide alone does not accelerate the healing of wounds, so complex wounds require comprehensive treatment and use of a whole range of means aimed at cleaning and regenerating tissues. I would like to warn readers against self-healing of old wounds - only the doctor can select the necessary antiseptics at this stage.



There are no bona fide firms engaged in diluting peroxide to 30% with ordinary water. This lowers its prime cost, which makes it possible to sell it quite cheaply. But this also threatens to reduce concentration during storage, because The process of disintegration of peroxide with its dilution with water continues to proceed. We know cases of a decrease in concentration by 0.5% and more in just a week of storage. For some consumers this can greatly affect the technological process.
