Feed-grade monoammonium phosphate is an inorganic salt with the formula NH₄H₂PO₄, intended for supply under feed specification. In documents the product may also be designated as monoammonium phosphate feed. When purchasing, it is important to check TU 2148-001-48590531-02, the mass fraction of phosphorus calculated as P₂O₅, nitrogen, fluorine, arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, moisture and sieve composition. For an enterprise, these indicators matter for incoming inspection and stable work with the batch.
A feed-grade monoammonium phosphate solution usually has a neutral or slightly acidic reaction, and the actual pH depends on concentration, water quality and the composition of the specific batch. If the product is used in a process with controlled parameters, it is better to check this indicator in the laboratory on a solution of working concentration. This helps assess the raw material’s behaviour in advance, rule out deviations, and correctly match the batch to the enterprise’s internal specification.
